The SensorThink team is comprised of team members with deep domain knowledge and software expertise. The team has a lengthy history of work in the warehousing, supply chain and IoT space.
Chief Executive Officer
Eric Peters is President and CEO of SensorThink, the first Digital Platform built to support the Connected Warehouse. He is the former President and CEO of Foodlink. Foodlink was acquired by Roper Technology in 2014. Foodlink was the leading network for perishables foods and a leader in the perishables supply chain. Foodlink was twice a JMP Securities Hot 100 Private Software Company. Prior to joining Foodlink, Mr. Peters served as President of TrueDemand Acosta, a role he was appointed to after the successful acquisition of TrueDemand by Acosta Sales & Marketing, a leading full‐service sales and marketing agency to the consumer packaged goods industry. Prior to Acosta, Peters was Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of TrueDemand. TrueDemand was a pioneering IoT technology company that used advanced analytics to help Walmart and Target suppliers predict out of stocks and create actions to reduce lost sales in the retail store.
Prior to founding TrueDemand, Peters was Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Manhattan Associates. He helped grow Manhattan Associates into the leading Supply Chain Software company. Previously, he was a Senior Executive in Accenture’s Global Supply Chain Strategy Practice and he began his career at Tompkins Associates, a supply chain consulting firm, serving as a Vice President and General Manager
Peters has also served as a Board Advisor to several startups in Silicon Valley.
Peters regularly speaks at industry events and has also been featured and quoted in hundreds of articles on supply chain, retail and the food industry. He is also a contributing author to 5 books.
Vice President Product Management
As Vice President of Product Management, Rick Kaminska is responsible for product strategy and execution at SensorThink. Rick works closely with major clients, partners and prospects to define product features and requirements, and oversees all product lifecycle functions. He has over 20 years of experience with industrial supply chain software systems and automation.
Prior to joining SensorThink, Rick served as Director of Software Systems for Tompkins International, the worldwide leader in total supply chain consulting and integration. Rick specialized in complex systems integration for large-scale distribution and fulfillment centers, and was responsible for product development of Tompkins’ warehouse control system and MHE control software. Prior to Tompkins, Rick served as a senior software developer and systems analyst for Ensco, an engineering, science and advanced technology solutions company.
Rick holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
Vice President Engineering
Bharath Kumar is responsible for managing product development at SensorThink. Bharath brings significant leadership experience in building highly scalable transactional and analytics applications in SaaS/Cloud environments. He has an established track record of building successful products in startups as well as large organizations and managing globally distributed teams.
Most recently he was VP of Product Development at iTradeNetwork, a leading provider of supply chain solutions. Prior to that, he was VP of Engineering at FoodLink, a leader in solutions for the perishables segment of the Food industry, which was acquired by Roper Technologies. At FoodLink he managed development of its collaborative order management and product traceability solutions.
Previously, Bharath was part of the founding team at Nomis Solutions, where he led the design and development of its award winning price optimization solutions for the Financial Services industry. At i2 Technologies, a pioneer in supply chain optimization, he led a global engineering organization for its SRM business unit.
His previous experience includes roles at Oracle and Sun Microsystems. He has an MS from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
Vice President Business Development
Dave is responsible for leading and directing the business development strategy at SensorThink. In addition to driving SensorThink’s customer-centric sales process, Dave is also responsible for managing strategic partnerships with providers of software and hardware that will integrate with the SensorThink Platform.
Dave has extensive experience in overseeing field sales and customer support teams, most recently as President of California-based First Alarm, one of the nation’s largest providers of physical security/life-safety systems and services. Dave is also a part-time faculty member at Cabrillo College where he teaches Business Information Systems Technology.
Dave holds an MBA from Colorado State University.
Dave has also chaired the Technology Committee at the California Chapter of the Electronic Security Association where he was a frequent speaker on IOT and disruptive technologies.
